BRVM West Africa Stock Exchange Trading Report




The BRVM closed its fixing session on Monday, December 5th 2011, higher than the previous one. The BRVM 10 index rose 0,56%, climbing from 162,20 to 163,11 points. The BRVM Composite index closed at 141,60 points up 0,36%.

1. The value of the transactions was XOF 201,38 million, compared to the XOF 154,95 million reported last Session.

2. Trading involved 18 of the 39 companies listed on the stock exchange. The number of securities traded climbed to 14 894.

3. 14 of the 21 accredited brokerage firms, including 5 from outside Côte d’Ivoire, took part in the market.

4. Stock market capitalization was XOF 3 110 317 080 773. That for the bond market rose to XOF 557 474 783 860.
