1. How to delete your account

1. Log in on the website or in the app. We send you a login code by email.
2. Open Account: on a computer at the bottom of the sidebar, on your phone via More → Account.
3. Go to Delete account and choose the Delete account button.
4. Type the word the app asks for (DELETE or VERWIJDEREN) and choose Delete permanently.

No running subscription, and after logging in you only see the screen to choose one? Choose Export or delete your data there, then open Account as in step 2.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are logged out. Within 30 days your account data is also erased from our back-ups (§5 of our Privacy Policy). This cannot be undone.

Go to Account If you aren't logged in, you log in first.

Want to keep your data? Download it first via Settings → Data & export.

2. Delete your data but keep your account

You can delete all your portfolio data, or one brokerage account, and keep your StockQuarters account. You do this yourself, on the website or in the app.

Delete all your data

1. Log in and open Settings: on a computer at the bottom of the sidebar, on your phone via More → Settings.
2. Go to Danger zone and choose Clear all data.
3. Type the word the app asks for (CLEAR or WISSEN) and choose Yes, clear everything.

No running subscription, and after logging in you only see the screen to choose one? Choose Export or delete your data there. It opens Settings; continue at step 2.

This deletes all your imports and transactions, including the ones you entered yourself, the files you uploaded and your brokerage accounts. What you set per stock goes too, such as manual prices, chosen exchanges and your own purchase prices and fund costs. Your bug reports and any import file you sent us to check are deleted as well.

Delete one brokerage account

In Settings, go to Brokerage accounts, choose Delete next to the account, type its name and choose Delete brokerage account. This deletes all transactions and uploaded files of that account. Your other accounts stay. This cannot be undone. Price alerts, manual prices, chosen exchanges and rejected splits for stocks you hold in no other account go with it.

What stays

Your account stays, with your email address, settings and goals. Your subscription keeps running: deleting data does not cancel it.

A share link you made also stays public: it then shows an empty portfolio. Turn it off in Settings → Sharing.

Records about your account itself stay too, such as your consents, your email preferences, your two-step login, the security log and the brokers you asked us to add.

Your data is deleted straight away. This cannot be undone. What we keep and for how long is in §5 of our Privacy Policy.
