How we compared
We looked at seven points that matter to a DEGIRO investor: how your DEGIRO data gets in (uploading a file, a connection to your broker, or manual entry), how the return is calculated and how deposits count in it, whether there is a tool for Dutch or Belgian tax, whether the interface is in Dutch, which devices it works on, and whether there is a free version and a paid plan.
Every fact about another provider comes from their own site, with the source and the day we checked it. If something is not on their own site, you see a dash and we draw no conclusion from it. An ‘n/a’ appears only for DEGIRO’s own overview: it belongs to your account and we do not compare it on those points. We deliberately leave other providers’ prices out: they change often, so check them at the source. The table only says whether a free version and a paid plan exist; only our own price is named.
A deposit is not profit. How to calculate your result and return when you deposited or withdrew money is explained in How to calculate your return with deposits. The table shows which method each provider names.
The comparison in a table
The columns are in alphabetical order, without a ranking. On a phone, scroll sideways; the first column stays in place. The small number beside a cell points to the source under the table.

What DEGIRO shows itself
Your DEGIRO account shows key figures. According to DEGIRO, ‘Total P&L’ is the total profit or loss since you opened your account, including realised and unrealised results on securities, dividends, exchange-rate movements and transaction costs.
How deposits and withdrawals count in that figure is not stated on the help pages we read. So we do not say it: we do not know it from the source.
For your return per year, for example for the box 3 counter-evidence rule, DEGIRO writes: ‘DEGIRO does not provide overviews of your return per year.’ According to that page you get your deposits and withdrawals from the Flatex annual report. The overview of your own account needs no import, but you can download reports as Excel, PDF or CSV.
De Belegger
De Belegger is a Dutch-language tracker. For DEGIRO there is a CSV import; according to De Belegger it is free for members. The return is money-weighted (every deposit and withdrawal counts on its exact date); the performance chart is time-weighted. For Belgians there is a screen for the capital gains tax.
Suits someone who wants to start free in Dutch and wants an iOS and Android app. According to De Belegger, tracking your own portfolio and the community stay free, also without a membership. Stronger than us: a free version and such an app. Whether De Belegger has a box 3 tool, we did not check.
getquin
getquin connects your accounts via an API and shows the internal rate of return (IRR) and the time-weighted return (TTWROR). The language picker shows English, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. DEGIRO is not named on the pages we looked at, so check yourself whether your broker is included.
Suits someone who wants a connection without files. Stronger than us: connections, apps for iOS and Android and a free plan. Whether getquin has a Dutch or Belgian tax tool, we did not find on their own site.
Parqet
For DEGIRO, Parqet describes an import of PDF files; that guide was last updated in December 2023, so check that it still holds. Parqet names TTWROR, which neutralises deposits and withdrawals, and a capital-weighted return that does count them. The TTWROR chart is in the paid plans. The site has a German and an English version.
Suits someone who wants to work with the PDF files from DEGIRO. Stronger than us: a free Basis plan with one portfolio and apps for iOS and Android.
Portfolio Dividend Tracker
Portfolio Dividend Tracker (PDT) imports a CSV export from DEGIRO and recognises actions you imported before. By default PDT calculates money-weighted (MWRR), using the moments you deposited or withdrew; you can also choose an absolute method. The site is in Dutch and English. No free version is mentioned, but there are 7 days to try.
Suits someone who wants a Dutch-language service and an indication of the Belgian capital gains tax. Stronger than us: PDT has its own explanation page for that, with the annual exemption and the FIFO method.
Portfolio Performance
Portfolio Performance is an open-source program for your own computer (Windows, macOS and Linux). It imports CSV, PDF and Interactive Brokers Flex Query. The time-weighted return (TWR) leaves deposits and withdrawals out; the manual calls the money-weighted return identical to the internal rate of return (IRR). The language picker shows Deutsch and English. Whether a DEGIRO file can be imported directly, we could not establish on their site.
Suits someone who wants a desktop program and open source. Stronger than us: it is open source and a program for your own computer.
StockQuarters
StockQuarters is our own tracker, so read this part with that in mind. You upload a DEGIRO export (CSV file); we never ask for your DEGIRO login. Uploading the same file again adds no duplicate rows.
Deposits and withdrawals never count as profit: the euro result is the value minus your net deposits, and the percentage beside it is money-weighted, with a switch to time-weighted. How that works is explained in How to calculate your return with deposits. For tax we have calculators for box 3 and the Belgian capital gains tax.
Our weak spots: there is no free version, only 7 days to try. After that it costs €5.99 per month or €59 per year (see the prices). We do not connect to your broker automatically, by design: for an up-to-date overview you upload a new export yourself. StockQuarters works in the browser, also on your phone.
TrackinV
For DEGIRO, TrackinV says by its own account that it only works with CSV import and never asks for your DEGIRO login: you use the Account.csv file. The return is time-weighted (TWR) and Modified Dietz, also with irregular deposits and withdrawals. The site offers English and Dutch and runs in the web browser.
Suits someone who wants a file upload and also looks for a tax report for the Netherlands (box 3 / OWR) and Belgium; that is in Premium. Stronger than us: a lasting free plan (one portfolio, up to 10 holdings). According to their pricing page you get 30 days of full Premium access, without a credit card.
Zune.Money
Zune.Money calls itself a portfolio tracker with a DEGIRO focus: you upload a CSV, XLS or XLSX file and they never ask for your DEGIRO password or API keys. The language picker includes Dutch. Which method they use for return and deposits, and whether there is a tax tool, is not stated on the pages we read.
Suits someone who wants a tracker that focuses on DEGIRO. Stronger than us: a free account that does not expire (up to 10 holdings).
Getting your data out of DEGIRO
How to make your DEGIRO export and what StockQuarters reads from it is on our DEGIRO page; the other trackers have their own requirements for the file.
