From export to dashboard in 3 steps

One Excel file, recognised automatically.

1

Export your transaction history

On the Bolero web platform: Rekeningen › Transactiehistoriek. Load all rows and click the Excel icon.

2

Upload the file

Drop the cashmovements file on the import page. We recognise buys, sells, dividends, deposits and costs.

3

View your dashboard

P&L, dividends, diversification and returns, right after the import. Securities we recognise then get a current price automatically.

Sound familiar, Bolero investors?

Four things you can't easily read from your export.

×

Tax and commission are inside the amount

For each purchase you see what you paid in total. How much of that was costs and stock exchange tax isn't listed separately.

✓

Costs visible per trade

We work out the difference between what you paid and quantity × price, and book it as costs on that trade. So you see what investing really costs you.

×

Withheld twice on dividends

On a foreign dividend the source country withholds tax, and then roerende voorheffing is deducted. What you received gross isn't immediately visible.

✓

Gross and withheld, separately

For each dividend we book the gross amount and everything withheld, roerende voorheffing and foreign withholding tax together.

×

Deposits distort your return

After a deposit, your portfolio value jumps. It looks like return, but it's your own money.

✓

Cash flows kept strictly separate

Deposits and withdrawals are cash flows, never profit. Your return stays clean, even in the month you top up.

×

Capital gains tax on a sale

Since 2026, Bolero can withhold capital gains tax on a sale at a profit. That lowers what you keep, but it isn't a loss on your investment.

✓

Booked separately

If your export contains capital gains tax, we book it as a separate cost. The result of the sale itself stays as it is.

What you get with StockQuarters + Bolero

Prices matched by name

Bolero's export has no ISIN. We look up each security by name and exchange. If we can't find it, it stays at cost and you enter a price yourself.

Correct P&L

Average purchase price per position, realised and unrealised separately. Deposits never count as profit.

Dividends with withholding tax

Gross, tax withheld and net separately. Per month, per position, with yield on cost and a calendar with ex-dates.

MWRR & TWR

Personal return (MWRR) and time-weighted return (TWR), next to the AEX, S&P 500, MSCI ACWI or Nasdaq-100.

Diversification

See your spread by sector, country, currency, position type and more.

Costs and stock exchange tax

Commission and stock exchange tax per trade, plus costs of corporate actions. Not hidden in the price.

Exporting your Bolero transaction history — step by step

Done in a few minutes, in your browser.

  1. Log in to the Bolero web platform in your browser and go to Rekeningen › Transactiehistoriek.
  2. Set the period from your very first transaction up to today. Whatever you leave out will be missing from your positions.
  3. Scroll down and click Laad meer until your oldest transaction is visible. Bolero only exports the rows loaded in the table.
  4. Click the Excel icon above the table. You get a file named cashmovements_….xlsx.
  5. Upload the file to StockQuarters. Is Bolero set to French? Switch the language to Dutch and export again.
A security we don't recognise by name is listed after the import. Quantities, cost, dividends and realised profit are still correct; you only enter the current price yourself.

Frequently asked questions about Bolero + StockQuarters

How do I export my transactions from Bolero?

Log in to the Bolero web platform and go to Rekeningen › Transactiehistoriek. Choose the period from your very first transaction, click Laad meer at the bottom until your oldest transaction is visible, and export the table with the Excel icon. Upload the cashmovements file to StockQuarters.

Why doesn't every security get a current price?

Bolero's export contains no ISIN, only a security's name and exchange. With those we find part of the securities. A security we don't recognise stays at cost; after the import you see which ones they are, and you can enter a price yourself. Quantities, cost, dividends and realised profit are correct either way.

What about stock exchange tax and roerende voorheffing?

Stock exchange tax and commission are included in the amount you paid per buy or sell; we book that difference as costs. For dividends we book the gross amount and what was withheld, roerende voorheffing and foreign withholding tax together.

Does it work with shares in dollars?

Bolero settles in euros, and we book those euro amounts. A row in a currency other than the euro is skipped and listed after the import.

My Bolero is in French. Does that work?

Not yet. Switch Bolero to Dutch and export again; we can't read the French export yet.

What happens to splits and stock dividends?

They aren't in Bolero's export, because no money moves. So we can't import them. A row we don't recognise is skipped and listed in your import summary, with its line number.

What does it cost?

€5.99 per month or €59 per year, after a free 7-day trial. You enter your payment method when the trial starts; cancel before day 7 and you pay nothing.
