Privacy in plain language

What happens to your data?

You upload a file from your broker account — that's it. Below, we explain in plain language what we do and don't do with your data. For the full legal version, see our privacy policy.

  • No broker login required

    You upload a CSV or PDF file from your broker yourself. We never ask for your login details and have no access to your broker account.

  • Encrypted storage in the EU

    Your data is stored encrypted with our hosting partner in Frankfurt, and sent encrypted too (TLS/HTTPS).

  • Never sold, no advertisers

    We never sell or rent out your data, and we don't share it with advertisers.

  • You stay in control

    Export all your data or delete your account directly from Settings — whenever you want.

  • Cookieless statistics

    No third-party tracking cookies, and no profile we build up about you.

Where is your data?

We do not run our own servers. These are the parties that process some of your data, and where that happens:

  • Your portfolio, your account and your files: encrypted in Frankfurt, at Supabase.
  • The website itself: Vercel, also from Frankfurt. It also briefly caches your computed dashboard there, for at most two days.
  • Your payment: Stripe, from Ireland. We never see your card number.
  • Our email (login code, confirmations): Resend, in the United States. That is why an email from us never contains amounts from your portfolio — only if you set up a price alert yourself does it contain that holding's ticker.
  • Temporary counters against abuse: Upstash, in Ireland. They protect signing in, importing, exporting and checking out, and expire within a few hours.
  • Our team mailbox, where internal notifications arrive (such as a new trial, a failed import or a bug report): Proton, in Switzerland. Such a notification never contains your file itself, and we keep it for 30 days at most.

For the parties that process data outside Europe we hold the European Commission's standard contracts, and we have assessed what that means in practice. You can request that assessment.

What we deliberately don't do

  • No advertising based on your data
  • No reselling your data to third parties
  • Never asking for your broker password
